This is for someone that would love to have a nice example of a Red GO 300 series telephone but cannot justify paying the current market price for one in perfect condition. As you can see this is a nice telephone but has some issues. This is the call exchange 312L model and is dated 1950 on the handset and 1954 on the base. It retains a very good original red braided GPO handset cord (Hens Teeth) and an original period dial label. The colour is good but has some fading to the handset although not to bad and very slight to the body. The mouthpiece is a brighter colour and has been repaired as can be seen in the picture below. Two of the corners have been knocked and repaired but still look OK. Difficult to explain but looks very nice in the flesh. This telephones is fully working to both dial out and receive perfectly. it has the original carbon granule microphone but I can replace this for an electronic one if preferred at no extra charge. Just send an email to say that is what you want.
I would prefer you to see it (Bromley). This has only been lightly cleaned and so you may like to spend a little time to get it spotless.
