This is how it came to us in with a batch of similar aged telephones. It is undamaged with no cracks, chips or repairs. It is very dirty externally but still pretty clean inside. The dial is a rare solid copper finger wheel No10 enamel faced alpha numeric face dial. As you can see the numbers have faded but no damage to the enamel. The dial runs perfectly and as you can see the contacts are all good. The handset is marked 1936 as are the original 162 internals. It retains its lead weight and original wiring diagram. I noticed the earpiece has been replaced at some time for the 1950s ear cap and better quality transmitter. The line in cords are original genuine GPO but are very worn. This would make a good restoration project for a collector or just a nice 1930s period feature. This is obviously not working or tested. Please see the pictures below to see the condition as stated above. Please note this is not working and in as found condition.
